Central Precocious Puberty. Genetics or environment?

Puberty is a complex process controlled at the hypothalamic level by an equilibrium between activator and inhibitor signals from neuromodulators, neurotransmitters, and cell-cell signaling molecules, produced by neuronal subsets or glial cells connected to gonadotropin-releasing hormone expressing (GnRH) neurons. The first sign of puberty in girls is the breast development and in boys is the testicular growth the first sign. The onset of puberty is normal between 8 and 13 years in girls and between 9 and 14 years in boys.
